№ 01Do you come to my location?
Yes — we are a fully mobile car detailing service across the San Fernando Valley. We arrive at your home, office, or garage with everything we need: water, power, and professional-grade products. No need to drive anywhere or wait at a shop. Most details are completed in your driveway in 1–4 hours, depending on the package.
№ 02What areas do you serve?
Our core service area is the West and South San Fernando Valley: Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Encino, Tarzana, Winnetka, West Hills, and Woodland Hills. These are the neighbourhoods where we operate daily. Other Valley areas and Greater Los Angeles are available by request — there may be a small travel fee for jobs outside our core zone.
№ 03How long does ceramic coating last in Los Angeles?
A professionally applied ceramic coating typically lasts 2 to 5 years in Los Angeles, depending on the coating grade and how the car is maintained. The intense San Fernando Valley sun and dry heat shorten coating life compared to milder climates. We recommend a maintenance wash every 2 to 4 weeks to preserve hydrophobic properties and gloss, and a top-up coat every 12 to 18 months for cars stored outdoors.
№ 04What is paint correction and do I need it?
Paint correction is a multi-stage machine polishing process that removes swirl marks, fine scratches, oxidation, water spots, and clear coat haze. You need it if your paint shows spider-web swirls in direct sunlight, fine scratches when freshly washed, or visible oxidation on older finishes. Paint correction should always be performed before applying ceramic coating, otherwise you lock imperfections under the coat permanently.
№ 05How often should I detail my Tesla?
Tesla paint is notoriously soft and prone to swirl marks, so we recommend a full mobile detail every 6 to 8 weeks for daily-driven Teslas in California. Between full details, a maintenance wash every 2 weeks using pH-neutral soap and the two-bucket method protects the soft clear coat. We also offer Tesla-specific paint correction packages, since the soft paint requires a careful, lower-cut polishing approach.
№ 06Can hard water spots permanently damage paint?
Yes — if left untreated, hard water spots will etch into clear coat and become permanent. The mineral deposits from sprinklers, rain, or carwash residue dry into a matrix that bonds to your paint. Light spots can be removed with specialised acidic spot removers. Heavy or etched spots require paint decontamination followed by machine polishing. Black or dark-coloured cars left in direct San Fernando Valley sun are most at risk.
№ 07How much does mobile car detailing cost in the San Fernando Valley?
Our mobile detailing packages start at $80 for a Basic Detail and range up to $300 for the Ultimate Detail. The Club Detail at $150 is our most popular package. Memberships start at $100/month for one maintenance wash, $199 for twice-monthly service, and $300 for weekly service. Paint correction ranges $400 to $2,000 depending on damage. Ceramic coating ranges $800 to $3,500 depending on grade. All quotes confirmed after we see the car.
№ 08What is included in a full car detail?
A full car detail includes a complete exterior hand wash using the two-bucket method and pH-neutral shampoo, wheel and tyre cleaning, paint decontamination with iron remover, clay bar treatment, microfiber hand-dry, tyre dressing, plastic trim restoration, and a wax or sealant application. Interior service includes full vacuum, dashboard cleaning, leather conditioning or fabric protection, glass cleaning inside and out, and air freshening. Premium packages add headlight restoration, engine bay cleaning, and paint sealant.
№ 09How long does a full car detail take?
A Basic Detail takes 90 minutes. Premium Detail takes 2 to 3 hours. The Club Detail takes 3 to 4 hours. The Ultimate Detail takes 4 to 6 hours. Paint correction adds 4 to 10 hours depending on damage severity. Ceramic coating adds 2 to 4 hours plus a 24-hour curing period. We schedule appointments in morning slots so most details finish by mid-afternoon.
№ 10How do I protect my car paint from sun damage in Los Angeles?
Layered protection works best in San Fernando Valley sun. Park in shade or garage when possible. Wash every 2 weeks to remove dust and contaminants. Apply quality wax or sealant every 6 to 8 weeks, or upgrade to professional ceramic coating that lasts 3 to 5 years and provides UV inhibitors. For maximum protection, add paint protection film over the hood and front fenders. The combination of ceramic coating and bi-weekly washing prevents most UV damage and oxidation.
№ 11Do you detail luxury and exotic cars like Porsche, Ferrari, and Bentley?
Yes. We regularly detail Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, and other high-value vehicles across the San Fernando Valley. We use premium product lines including Swissvax, Gyeon, and Koch-Chemie, hand-application on sensitive surfaces, and photo-documentation before, during, and after every detail. We carry commercial liability with high-value vehicle endorsement and provide certificates of insurance on request.
№ 12Are you insured for mobile car detailing?
Yes. We carry full commercial general liability insurance and bonding for vehicle care. Certificates of insurance with additional insured naming are available on request. For high-value vehicles above $250,000, we adjust coverage limits accordingly. We have not had a damage claim and maintain photo documentation of every vehicle at pickup, during work, and at delivery for full accountability.
№ 13Can you detail my car at my office or while I work?
Yes. Two options. On-site mobile detail at your office parking if your workplace allows vendor access. We bring water, power, and equipment. Or concierge pick-up service where we collect your car between 8am and 11am, detail at our facility, and return between 3pm and 6pm. Concierge pick-up adds $120 to standard package pricing. Particularly popular for Warner Center and Studio City office workers.
№ 14What is the difference between detailing, washing, and a basic car wash?
A basic car wash is exterior cleaning only at an automated facility, 10 minutes, $10 to $20. A standard wash is hand-applied exterior plus basic interior vacuum, 30 to 60 minutes, $30 to $60. A detail is comprehensive interior and exterior treatment including paint decontamination, clay bar, leather conditioning, plastic restoration, and protectant application, 2 to 6 hours, $80 to $300. Detailing protects long-term paint and interior condition. Basic washes do not.
№ 15Do you offer recurring or membership detailing programs?
Yes. Three monthly memberships designed for different use patterns. Essential at $100/month covers one maintenance wash. Standard at $199/month covers two maintenance washes plus discounts on full details and coatings. Weekly at $300/month covers weekly maintenance for daily-driven vehicles. All membership clients receive priority booking and 15% off paint correction, ceramic coating, and add-ons. Most clients save 25 to 40% versus booking each detail individually.
№ 16How fast can you remove pet hair from a car interior?
Heavy pet hair removal typically takes 60 to 90 minutes as part of a Club Detail or Ultimate Detail. We use specialised rubber brushes to lift bonded hair, high-powered vacuums to extract it, and pet hair magnets for stubborn areas like seat seams and floor mat ridges. Standard vacuum alone barely removes pet hair. Our combination technique removes essentially all visible hair, including hair embedded in carpet fibres and fabric seat weaves. Included in all packages except Basic Detail.
