Standard concierge detail runs on a same-day return window. We pick up the car between 8am and 10am. Detail completed by 2pm to 4pm depending on package. Return between 3pm and 6pm. For Ultimate Details with paint correction or ceramic coating, we typically need the car overnight, with pick-up the night before and return the following afternoon. Multi-day services are scheduled around your travel or shoot calendar.
How key handover works
Three options for key handover. First, you hand off keys in person at pick-up time. We sign a brief liability acknowledgment and proceed. Second, we have a coded lock box at your residence or office, you place keys inside, we retrieve. Third, you give keys to your assistant, doorman, or building concierge, we identify ourselves with company credentials and pick up. Most clients use option two or three for convenience.
Where the actual detail happens
We detail concierge pick-ups at our Winnetka facility, which has covered bays, controlled lighting, and full equipment. This means we can complete more thorough work than is possible in your driveway. Multi-stage paint correction, ceramic coating curing, and interior shampoo with dry time are all easier in a controlled environment. The work is identical to mobile but with better conditions for the more intensive packages.
Insurance and liability for concierge service
We carry full commercial liability and bonding for vehicle care. Every concierge pickup is logged, photographed at pickup and delivery, and tracked GPS during transport. Mileage driven is logged. Any pre-existing damage is documented before we leave with the car. We have not had a damage claim across hundreds of concierge details, but the coverage and process are in place for the rare incident.
Pricing for concierge service
Concierge service adds a flat $120 to standard package pricing for pick-up and return within Studio City, Toluca Lake, Sherman Oaks, and Universal City. Burbank concierge is $150. Other Valley neighbourhoods are quoted based on distance. The $120 covers both directions of transport, GPS tracking, insurance overhead, and coordination time. For multi-car households booking concierge service for two or more vehicles in one cycle, we discount the second and subsequent vehicles.
When concierge does not make sense
Concierge is not the right choice for every situation. Quick maintenance washes are typically more cost-effective on-location at your driveway. Same-day jobs requiring real-time tweaks are easier with you nearby for input. And cars with severe damage requiring paint correction often benefit from in-person diagnostic before work begins.
